**Job description**

We have TWO immediate full-time employment opportunities for evening sushi production staff.

Kitchen/food related experience is extremely valuable, so if you’re tired of the heat, stress and working conditions in the restaurant industry, maybe working in a giant fridge would be the cooler alternative you’re looking for.

Maybe you’re just tired of the craziness that customer service provides and you’d like to work in a more back of house position.
- Evening shift pay : starts from $17
- Evening shift hours: approximately 3pm-1130pm (flexible)
- Being able to work Friday and Saturday is required
- No experience or knowledge of sushi/Japanese culture is required

Job Duties:

- Pack the products for delivery
- Cleaning both during and after the shift
- Preparing Sushi (Nigiri and Rolls)
- Operate various machinery (cookers, rollers, cutters, etc) to prepare product as per instruction
- Preparing the product/facility for the morning shift

**Requirements**:

- Able to follow company quality and safety procedures
- Be reliable, fast, work well within a team and be eager to learn
- Be physically able to do the work: able to stand for the entirety of the shift, able to handle the cold, willing to get a little dirty with the cleaning
- Knife skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine is NOT required (but kitchen/food experience is an asset)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
