**Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate hydrovac trucks and related equipment for excavation tasks.
- Dig and expose underground utilities with precision and care.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to plan excavation projects effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations during operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite and equipment throughout the project duration.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Independent, respectful and honest attitude.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid commercial driver's license, Class 3 or 1.
- Valid Industry tickets: First Aid, H2S, Ground Disturbance Level II Supervisory, Fall Protection and Confined Space.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have experience and reliable transportation.
- Ability to be flexible for all shift types, in town, out of town, day and night shifts-seven days a week.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

**Experience**:

- Hydrovac: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 3 Licence (required)
- First Aid (preferred)

- Fall Protection (preferred)
- Confined Space (preferred)
