**Project Coordinator**
- We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team on a _**_contract basis_**_ to cover a _**_parental leave._**_ The contract duration will be_ _**_October/November, 2024 to March 31st, 2026, covering the second half of the project._**
This full-time, contract position will report to the Director of the Training, Resource and Education Centre (TREC) and will be expected to spend the majority of their time implementing the WAGE grant project. There may be other public education tasks to fulfill depending on the needs of the TREC and project. As this position entails working in various locations throughout Calgary and Alberta, access to reliable transportation is necessary.

**Key Responsibilities** of the Project Coordinator include:
The WAGE Project Coordinator will work with the Director of the Training, Resource and Education Centre (TREC) and the Project Team, to oversee the implementation of the WAGE project and to ensure the timely achievement of all project deliverables. The primary objective of this project is to further scale the “Who Do You Tell?” (“WDYT?”) Program -CCASA’s long standing child sexual abuse education program
- across Alberta. This will include enhancing program materials for CCASA’s current ““WDYT?”TM licensees around the province and outreaching to other communities to develop service delivery models that fit for their community. The accessibility of the program will be enhanced to meet the needs of rural, underserved and Indigenous communities. This will also be done by incorporating additional material addressing online sexual violence, creating more digital resources for natural supports and the public, expanding on content specifically targeting men, boys and male caregivers, and emphasizing equity, diversity and inclusivity though a Gender-based Analysis Plus GBA+.
Other **Key responsibilities** are:
- Contributing professional and effective content to the “Who Do You Tell?” Program through a curriculum developer.
- Building relationships with unique and diverse communities in Calgary and throughout the province.
- Responding to disclosures of abuse/assault in a professional, supportive manner.
- Provide crisis support, information, advocacy and referrals when needed.
**Qualifications and attributes of the **successful applicant include:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in educating, training or facilitating.
- Educational background in a related field (Education, Social Work, Human Services, Business) and/or a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Project planning, management and supervision.
- An anti-oppressive/feminist analysis of sexual violence.
- An understanding and comfort with issues related to sexual violence and sexual harassment.
- Knowledge of CCASA’s “Who Do You Tell?” Program or other child sexual abuse education programming.
- Strong public speaking, facilitation, and training skills.
- Crisis intervention and assessment skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing demands and client group
- Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and take initiative.
- Effective problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Strong self-reflection and interpersonal skills.
- Thrives in a collaborative environment, internally and externally.
