Are you a highly organized and adaptable individual seeking a career where you can make a direct impact on patient care? As a Ward Clerk at Mount Sinai Hospital, you will be at the heart of our health care team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination that directly impacts patient experiences.
This position is located within the Orthopaedic Oncology Department (11 South).
**About this unit**:
Located at Mount Sinai Hospital's 11 South Floor, this is a 30-bed unit providing comprehensive care for orthopedic oncology and trauma patients. The orthopaedic oncology population consists of patients diagnosed with a rare type of cancer called sarcoma. This is the largest multi-disciplinary program of its type in Canada. This program is unique because patients are able to receive all of their cancer care needs on one unit - from diagnosis, staging, to treatment, to cure or palliative care when required. Six beds are allocated to the inpatient administration of chemotherapy to our sarcoma population. Patients are cared for by expert oncology nurses and the allied healthcare team throughout the trajectory of their hospitalization.
The orthopedic trauma population consists of patients who have suffered a fracture. These patients undergo the necessary surgical treatment for their fractures and receive professional and individualized care from the interdisciplinary team throughout their recovery.
**Is this you?**
Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering top-notch administrative support? Join our team and make a meaningful impact with your exceptional communication skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and dedication to maintaining high standards.
