WELCOME TO **FOREST MANOR DENTAL** :)

We are looking for a full-time **Senior Dental Treatment Coordinator **to join our dental office located near Fairview Mall in North York.

**Duties**
- Greet patients as they arrive and make them feel welcome.
- Book appointments for new and returning patients utilizing the appropriate scheduling templates.
- Ensure that the schedule accounts for the appropriate amount of doctor time, filling openings as necessary and discussing any major changes with the clinical team.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and other staff members

Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

**Experience**
- **Minimum 3 years of experience** as a Treatment Coordinator is required
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic medical records system
- Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms
- Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and financial responsibilities
- Coordinate treatment plans with dental providers and specialists
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and update medical history as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their questions and concerns

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
