**Fractional Controller**

Min 5 years experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform monthly closings and prepare complete and accurate monthly financial statements
- Monitor and continue to develop KPI, metrics and management reports to guide senior management in business decisions
- Manage and improve cash flow and day to day banking relationships
- Coordinate and prepare internal and external (audit, compliance, etc.) financial statements
- Provide management reports as required
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts
- Make recommendations regarding benchmarking the financial and operating performance
- Liaise with external auditors and lead financial audits. Make recommendations for improvements
- Provide financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions as required
- Participate and/or lead systems improvement
- Ensure statutory taxes and regulations relating to financial matters are met
- Ensure finance and accounting departments are very well maintained
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- CPA designation
- 5-10 years experience in preparation, analysis of finance statements including reconciliations
- Able to manage all aspects of A/R, A/P and G/L
- Analytical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills and ability to work with all levels within the organization

Technical Competencies
- Excellent computer literacy including the ability to operate complex accounting software such as SAP or NetSuite etc., advanced level Excel skill (pivot table, v-lookups, and advanced formulas)

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Barrie, ON L4N 5J4
