**About the role**:
Our team is looking for a Business Planner to provide support for the GSC (Global Supply Chain) department leadership and be the department representative for various activities and committees. The role requires a good understanding of the plant manufacturing processes, and a strong relationship with leaders in the Production, GSC and Quality groups. You will evaluate and help drive change with various operations within GSC, including cost management, process efficiency and safety standards. The role requires a substantial amount of creativity, perception and initiative and the ability to lead group activities and projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Workplace Safety System by overseeing the safety standards and performance for in-plant vehicle and transportation safety protocols
- Co-Chair the Plant PIV (Pedestrian In-Plant Vehicle) Committee
- Participate and support regular audits within the department in various areas, including manufacturing process validation, safety observations and compliance audits with external auditors
- Facilitate the department budget and forecasting process including presentations and reports to Leadership team on performance results
- Ensure monthly cost and budget reconciliation is completed, including analysis and countermeasures are implemented
- Create and manage Cost and Performance Reports for department
- Payroll administration and Reporting (STKS System)
- Department representation on various committees and groups, including Workplace of Choice, Plant Recognition Team and several cross-function plant resource groups.
- Take initiative and lead various projects as required for the department.

**Qualifications**:

- Two-year degree or professional certification in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to ensure a safe industrial work environment
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate and support team member output
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Able to work autonomously with occasional guidance from leaders and peers
