**Location**: Boogles Playhouse — Upper Canada Mall, Newmarket
**Contract**: Fixed-Term (5 months starting October 30, 2025, with potential to renew)

Boogles Playhouse is expanding After the success of our first Montessori-inspired location at Square One, we’re opening at Upper Canada Mall — a warm, creative space where children ages 0-8 can play, learn, and explore through child-led experiences.

We’re hiring two types of Play Partners to join our opening team (full time and part time):
1. Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) - Play Partner

As an RECE Play Partner, you’ll lead our drop-off care and Stay + Play sessions, create meaningful programming, and connect with families in a supportive, play-based environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Facilitate drop-off sessions and Stay + Play programs (ages 0-8)
- Create and lead Montessori-inspired activities (crafts, sensory, music, storytelling, etc.)
- Support social, emotional, and developmental milestones through play
- Communicate warmly with families and provide child updates
- Maintain a safe, organized, engaging play space
- Collaborate with the team and mentor ECE Assistants

**Requirements**:

- Registered ECE in good standing (CECE)
- Experience with children 0-8 years old
- Love of child-led, play-based learning
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg and stay active on your feet
- Vulnerable Sector Check required

2. ECE Assistant - Play Partner

As an ECE Assistant, you’ll support RECEs in facilitating play sessions, engaging children, and helping create magical experiences for families.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support RECEs during drop-off care and Stay + Play
- Assist with setup of crafts, sensory play, music, and storytelling
- Engage with children and encourage creativity and exploration
- Help supervise and ensure safety
- Keep the space organized and welcoming
- Communicate with families and assist the team

**Requirements**:

- Experience with children 0-8 (preferred)
- Interest in Montessori and play-based learning
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Vulnerable Sector Check required
- CPR/First Aid an asset (or training provided)
