We are a dynamic manufacturing company committed to excellence, innovation and food safety. We are seeking a **Shipping & Receiving Material Handling Clerk**to join our warehouse operations team.

**Position Overview**

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and working closely with both the Shipping and Receiving Coordinators, the Shipping & Receiving Material Handling Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of materials. This role supports daily operations: including shipping, receiving, order processing, inventory control, and documentation, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process and fulfill customer and production orders accurately and on time.
- Support inbound and outbound shipments, including freight booking and document preparation.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform inventory breakdowns, handling material delivery to production work centers, put away, and replenishment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, Quality Control, and Logistics teams.
- Conduct inspections for incoming and outgoing materials to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and shipping documentation (packing slips, BOLs, customs paperwork).
- Support lean initiatives and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot issues related to shipping errors, stock variances, and returns.

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment safely.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
