- Deliver accessibility education, training, or workshops for clients, emphasizing content-related accessibility practices, understanding automated vs. manual testing results, and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams, such as development, product management, and UX, to ensure accurate issue validation and clear communication of accessibility improvements to clients.
- Conduct regular accessibility audits of our products and communicate results to our internal teams
- Develop sitemaps to structure and organize content for customer websites, enhancing user navigation and SEO performance
- Run public engagement activities to gather user input on website content and navigation, ensuring the site meets audience needs and expectations.

- Expertise in accessibility legislation and standards (WCAG 2.1 AA and ideally WCAG 2.2 AA), particularly as they relate to North American compliance requirements for public sector organizations.
- Familiarity and experience interpreting accessibility audit reports from automated testing tools (SiteImprove, Monsido, Deque, etc.) and performing manual validation.
- Strong understanding of accessibility principles and best practices, including semantic HTML, ARIA, alt text usage, keyboard navigation, heading hierarchy, colour contrast, and accessible multimedia content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly conveying accessibility information, concepts, and actionable recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to independently organize, prioritize, and manage accessibility audits and client communications effectively.
- Experience providing accessibility training or workshops is highly desirable.
