**ROLE SUMMARY AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Reporting to the General Manager, a Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and mechanical service of Cold Drink Equipment throughout our territory of central Alberta.
The Field Service Technician performs scheduled service calls along with efficiently distributing reactive calls amongst team members, as well as, professionally and proactively coordinating with both end customer and Coca-Cola counterparts.
- **Safety First**:Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and local regulations while performing duties. Safe and defensive driving as critical.
- **Teamwork**:Work together with the Field Service team, ensuring the achievement of KPIs and a strong team dynamic.
- **Team and Customer Coordination Support**:Supporting schedule coordination across the team to ensure fair and efficient distribution of service calls.
- **Field Service Team Performance**: You will be an active team member, supporting service tickets, installations, and cold drink equipment maneuvers. Proactively identify opportunities to improve productivity of the workforce through current technology enablement, training, process improvement and identifying best practices.
- **Technology and Data Management**: Maintaining data in our systems is critical to operations. You will be responsible for maintaining service data and your tablet.
- **Physical Requirements**: Must be capable of lifting up to 75lbs in a safe manner as directed by Management and WCB requirements. This role often involves heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, so physical fitness and stamina are essential.
**IMPORTANT DETAILS**
**Qualifications**
- Experience in construction and HVAC, Plumbing and Electro/Mechanical repair are assets
- Experience in Beverage Equipment Service and/or Appliance Repair is preferred
- Problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong communications skills
- Comfortable navigating Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel etc.) and basic computer skills
- Experience with managing competing priorities
**Requirements**:
- Ability to consistently bend, kneel and safely life up to 75lbs
- Valid drivers license (Driver’s Abstract will be required) and reliable transportation
- Steel Toe Boots
- Basic Hand Tools
**Regular Hours**
- 7:30 - 4:30 PM
- On Call Rotation (once deemed competent)
