**Position: Superintendent - (Wood frame/Steel)**

**Location: Calgary AB**

**Shift: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5pm.**

**Full Time Position**

**Exp required: experience working as superintendent Structural experience in Hybrid steel and wood frame builds (residential/commercial/Impeccable Safety Record/MEP**

**Job Summary**

The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong **experience working as superintendent Structural experience in Hybrid steel and wood frame builds (residential/commercial/Impeccable Safety Record/MEP**

**Responsibilities**:

- Continuously monitor project budget and forecasting to the individual phase code level and cost type for potential gains and losses
- Provide leadership and direction for all project activities and tasks, ensuring project outcomes are delivered successfully and in compliance with all contracts and client needs
- Ensure clear communication of project-specific roles and responsibilities for all site personnel. Provide regular and respectful feedback for all under your direction
- Monitor company equipment and supplies to ensure the needed equipment is where it’s required.
- Inspect tools and equipment and notify the Tools and Equipment Manager for service and repair as needed

**Qualifications**:

- **8-10 Years Experience in commercial construction for a large general contractor**:

- **Experience as a superintendent for a large general contractor**:

- **Experience with multi-family construction (wood, steel frame assets)**:

- **Journeyman trade certification or equivalent experience**:

- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards
- Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting
- Monitor and control project budgets

Pay: $140,000.00-$160,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Superintendent/Multi-Family construction: 8 years (required)
- steel and wood frame builds (residential/commercial): 8 years (required)
- Timber wood framing: 5 years (required)
