We are growing again. This is a Yard lead hand position in our Tillsonburg location. This is a physically demanding position that works close with the Yard Supervisor by doing the receiving of materials along with guiding the productivity of the yard staff on evenings and weekends. Job duties are as follows but not limited to: - Work with customers to gather the material they purchased - Prepare orders to be delivered - Delivering material to customer locations in a safe, friendly and efficient manner - Translate strategic goals into practical action - Use strong planning and organizing skills to keep the yard clean and organized - Ensure physical inventory is accurate, performing random product cycle counts - as requested by the yard manager - Unload, verify and receive material with a strong attention to detail - Be able to guide fellow staff in a friendly team manner. **Job requirements**: - Able to work evenings until 8pm and weekends until 5pm - Valid G class Drivers license - Able to carry sheet goods and lift 80lbs - Able to operate a forklift - or confidant enough to learn to operate. - A positive "can do" attitude. - Previous inventory organization experience is an asset. - Strong interpersonal skills **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off - Store discount - Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Evenings - Every Weekend Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay **Experience**: - 3/4 ton truck driving: 3 years (preferred) - leadership / supervisor: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Class G Licence (required)
