Ottawa, Canada Art-Is-In Bakery Inc. Full time

Art Is In is an edgy gastro-bakery inspired by the fine boulangeries of Paris and the funky cafes of Brooklyn. Our busy pastry shop is seeking an experienced, creative and pastry cook to join our team. We are looking for someone to start mid January.

Baking and pastry arts diploma and/or trade experience is an asset.

**You would be required to work weekends and must be available to start work at 5 am.**

**Summary of role & key responsibilities**

**You will**:

- Follow recipes, checklists, procedures & operating instructions thoroughly
- Complete tasks as delegated by your team leader & assist other team members as required
- Assist in stock control on all perishable stock
- Ensure consistency & quality of production
- Help ensure production areas are maintained and cleaned to highest standards

**Skills, qualification & competencies**

- Ability to multi-task & meet changing deadlines

- Clear & effective communicator in written English

**Work experience**
- Diploma in pastry (preferred)
- Experience in pastry production (preferred)

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
