**CNC Machinist/Operator Job Description**

**Position Overview**:
We are looking for experienced CNC Milling and Lathe Machinist/Operators to join our production team. As a CNC Machinist/Operator, you will play a crucial role in machine setup, part manufacturing, quality control, and ensuring all work orders are completed accurately and on time. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who enjoys problem solving and working in a positive, supportive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and set up CNC milling and lathe machines for production, ensuring proper tool selection.
- Measure parts accurately using various tools to ensure parts meet quality standards and exact specifications.
- Ensure timely completion of manufacturing work orders, maintaining high productivity without compromising quality.
- Track and record production data and part quality information for reporting and analysis.
- Assist with quality control activities to ensure all parts meet required standards.
- Work with senior machinists/programmers to improve part programs and processes.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Milling and Lathe Operator, with a strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
- Comfortable learning to operate 2-5 axis CNC machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and committed to delivering high-precision results.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to speak and understand English proficiently.
- Comfortable with physical activity, including lifting 20 to 40 pounds.
