**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Supervise nursing staff and caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgeting for the care department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining high-quality care standards.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident health and well-being, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Lead training sessions for staff on best practices in dementia care and other relevant topics.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations governing senior care facilities.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a leadership role within a senior care environment such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices in senior health care.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare setting.
- Compassionate approach to caregiving with a deep understanding of dementia care principles.
- Valid nursing license (RN) is mandatory; relevant certifications in senior care are advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities.

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
