**Position**: Dietary Aide

Shouldice Hospital in Thornhill, the leader in hernia repairs, is looking for a part-time permanent Dietary Aide to provide patient-centred care with exceptional customer service.

**Position Purpose**

This part-time position is responsible for daily assigned tasks within the Dietary Department. This position is days and weekends.

**Responsibilities**
- Serving patient dinners and snack
- Setting and resetting tables
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment following Public Health standards
- Customer service
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for up to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Knowledge of chemicals
- Knowledge of WHMIS
- Knowledge of Public Health standards
- Strong command of the English language
- Customer service, as well as patient-centred experience
- Current Food Handling Certificate

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 20 - 28 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
