Our vision is to grow into a $5M organization within the next 3-4 years, expanding our reach and impact across Alberta.

To support this ambitious goal, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Fundraiser based in Edmonton to join our team. This role will focus on building strong relationships within the community and developing fundraising opportunities to help us meet our mission while supporting our six core programs.

Key Responsibilities:
**Fundraising Strategy and Execution**:

- Identify, cultivate, and solicit new and existing donors, sponsors, and partners in the Edmonton area.
- Develop and execute community-based fundraising initiatives and events.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual fundraising targets.

**Donor Engagement and Stewardship**:

- Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community groups.
- Act as an ambassador for Variety at events, presentations, and community meetings.
- Create personalized donor stewardship plans to ensure long-term support.

**Grant Writing and Proposal Development**:

- Work with the Variety team to align funding requests with program needs.

**Support for Six Core Programs**:

- Develop and secure funding opportunities to directly support Variety’s six core programs.
- Communicate program goals and impact to donors and stakeholders to inspire giving.
- Collaborate with program staff to identify resource needs and align fundraising strategies with program objectives.

**Partnership Development**:

- Identify opportunities to collaborate with local businesses, schools, and organizations.
- Secure in-kind donations to support programs and events.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Degree or diploma in fundraising, nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field.

**Experience**:Minimum of 5 years in fundraising, sales, or related roles, with a strong proven track record of meeting targets.

Pay: $63,572.00-$72,023.00 per year
