Our mission is to create a learning environment that promotes employee growth and build trusting relationships with our clients. **What We Offer**: - Coaching, support, and performance reviews - Competitive benefits and recognition - Professional uniform - Growth and advancement opportunities **Responsibilities**: - Reliable, punctual, and excellent customer service - Following post orders, conducting property inspections - Deescalating incidents, removing unauthorized individuals - Promptly responding to alarms - Accurate reporting and documentation **Requirements**: - Security Officer for Emergency Coverages/BC Wildfires - Personal Vehicle - High School Diploma or equivalent - Strong observational, communication, and problem-solving skills - Professional, self-driven, and able to follow site-specific instructions - Building positive client relationships **Mandatory Licenses and Certifications**: - Valid BC Security Guard License (BST) - Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License - Clean Driver's Abstract - Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification **Experience**: - Relevant security experience is highly valued **Job Type**: Full-time (Temp Contract Hiring) **Work Location**:On the road (British Columbia Interior) **Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Contract **Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 12 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Night shift - On call - Weekends as needed **Experience**: - Security Officer: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: - Security License (required) - OFA 1 First Aid (preferred) - Class 5 Licence (preferred) Work Location: On the road
