Requirements:

  • Preferred Female officer based on site requirements
  • Canadian Residency/Citizenship
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong observational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, self-driven, and able to follow site-specific instructions
  • Building positive client relationships

Mandatory Licenses and Certifications:

  • Valid BC Security Guard License (BST) (AST is considered an asset)
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • Federal Security Clearance (or eligibility, if required)
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification

Responsibilities:

  • Reliable, punctual, and excellent customer service
  • Following post orders, conducting property inspections
  • Deescalating incidents, removing unauthorized individuals
  • Promptly responding to alarms
  • Accurate reporting and documentation

Experience:

-Relevant security experience is highly valued
