Social Media Marketing Coordinator

Job Purpose:
Combines marketing and social media management to create and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue. Implements plans with Management team members to create innovative social media campaigns resulting in increased sales.

Job Duties:

- Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies
- Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media
- Travels to gym locations in the GTA to create social media and marketing campaigns
- Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
- Reports progress to management
- Grows and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram Tik Tok and You Tube
- Researches and monitors activity of company competitors
- Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages
- Must increase social media followers and create as much traffic in social media platforms to help company succeed in increasing membership sales and Personal Training
- Works with Management team on cross promotions with other Canadian brands that are fit into a healthy lifestyle
- Be on site as support staff for marketing events at gym
- Will work onsite at gyms to sell memberships when required

Skills and Qualifications:

- Education or background in Communications or Marketing
- excellent photography and video editing skills
- 1 to 2 Years of Experience with Social Media Marketing
- Experience in : Content Creation, Copywriting, Graphic Design, Web Design and Strategy, Data Collection and Analysis. Previous experience using Google and Facebook ads
- must have portfolio or social media account that has excellent content and engagement with followers
- Must be able to learn new computer skills quickly, Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Attention to Detail, Self-Motivated, Creative Problem-Solving Skills, Disciplined
- Must have vehicle

**Job Types**: Casual, Full-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- TORONTO, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
