**Main Duties**:

- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements (i.e. understand dimensions, tolerances and other specifications)
- Set up and operate welding machines and other equipment based on job requirements
- MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum, stainless steel and brass components based on specs
- De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
- Assess incoming jobs and read work orders to determine production requirements
- Manage multiple time-sensitive projects including welding, fabrication and installation as required
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Keep all work areas and tools clean and organized
- Work in compliance with all Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and company standards, following all safety protocols including enhanced measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19
- Conduct safety checks on equipment and daily maintenance in compliance with safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned or required

**Employment Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year experience as a commercial welder
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and material properties including [list the main materials you guys use]
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
