Dust furniture.
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
- Sweep, mop and wash floors.
- Make beds and change sheets.
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
- Stock linen closet.
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen fixtures and appliances.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
- Clean and disinfect elevators.
- Handle and report lost and found items.
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
- Clean all common areas to ensure that common areas are maintained and that brand standards are met.
- Perform laundry duties when necessary, ensuring that soiled linens are properly cleaned and folded so that they are available for room attendants.
- Ensure that all lost and found items are properly documented and communicated to the front desk agents.
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain a strong and professional working relationship.
- Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks.
- Be environmentally conscious.
- Manage guest request in a timely and efficient manner.
- Greet guests in a friendly manner.
- Communicate with Front Desk Staff/Manager regarding room status.
- Record data regarding work assignments.
- Help motivate and foster a team atmosphere within the housekeeping department and hotel as a whole.
- Communication.
- Teamwork.
- Maintain proper attendance.
- All other duties as is assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- On call

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Niagara Falls, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
