**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and overall health status.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
- Administer medications as directed while following HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism, or other conditions requiring specialized care.
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

**Skills**
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience in group homes or assisted living facilities is highly desirable.
- Strong patient observation skills to monitor changes in health status effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
- Familiarity with home health practices and hospice care principles is beneficial.
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Experience in nursing or long-term care settings is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. This role is essential in providing high-quality support to those in need while fostering an environment of respect and dignity for all clients served.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.50-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
