Joining Beehive Support Service Association as a **Complex Needs Worker **means becoming an important part of our dedicated team. In addition to a developmental disability these Individuals might need additional supports due to complex behavioural needs, medical needs, a mental health diagnoses or a physical disability.

**As a Complex Needs Worker, you would**:

- Identify behaviors of concern, develop, review, and monitor plans that assist Individuals in managing behaviors or situations of concern
- Assist or provide full support in personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist or provide full support to Individuals to maintain health (medical appointments, medication administration, education around healthy eating and emotional supports
- Provide some aspects of home maintenance and support Individuals in their daily routines such as meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, and laundry
- Assist Individuals in the development of social skills and meaningful relationships
- Assist Individuals in managing their person affairs, such as banking, budgeting, paying bills, etc.
- Support Individuals in knowing their rights, voice their thoughts, needs and advocate for the services they require

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or equivalent formal education in a relevant discipline is preferred as well as specialized training or experience working with Individuals with cognitive and/or physical challenges.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with Individuals with Disabilities or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
- Well-developed and effective communication skills (written and oral)
- Demonstrated skill in critical thinking
- Criminal Record Check Must Be Brought to Interview
- Child Welfare Intervention Check Must Be Brought to Interview
- Willing to obtain First Aid Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License
- Foundations

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.29-$24.95 per hour
