Robotics Technician

West Coast Robotics is a leading specialist in the sale and installation of robotics automation solutions in the dairy industry. We help dairy farmers improve their operational efficiency. We are excited about our ongoing growth and are seeking to add a **Robotics Technician - Engineering Technologist** to join our installation team.

**The Position**:
You will be working on developing solutions for milking and feeding robotics installation and service requirements. You are mechanically inclined with an interest in robotics and mechatronics. This is a hands-on position that focuses on technical solutions using some pretty amazing robotics technology. You will interact with the installation team, addressing solutions for individual installation automated feeding requirements at our state of the art head office location and on Fraser Valley dairy farm sites.

**Position Requirements**:
To be considered for this role, you should have the following skills and background:

- A mechanical, electronics, mechatronics or robotics technology (Engineering Technologist) certificate or diploma from a recognized educational institution OR practical experience with mechanical, mechatronics, and/or robotics equipment and operations
- Experience with PLC programming and/or AutoCAD technology (an asset but not required)
- Hands-on mentality - this position requires installation troubleshooting
- Familiarity with the dairy and broader farming industry is an asset
- Exceptional communication skills
- Willingness to work in the Fraser Valley region
- Driver license in good standing
- An exceptional work ethic and passion for your profession
