Professional Excavators & Construction Inc., is currently hiring a Traffic Control Laborers.

About the Job:
The Traffic Control Laborer works directly with the Traffic Control Lead and provides support to field crews to ensure the safety of workers on project sites. This position is a seasonal position and hours will vary depending on weather and operational needs.

Responsibilities for this position include:

- Deliver and assist with setting up traffic control signage.
- Drive up to 5-ton truck
- Ensure all signs delivered are accounted for and signed out to the site contact.
- Pick up traffic control signage upon project completion.
- Deliver and assist with setting up temporary construction fencing.
- Dismantle and pick up temporary construction fencing upon project completion.
- Complete onsite traffic control and flagging.
- Assist with site cleanup upon project completion.
- Complete landscaping on projects.
- May be required to perform duties outside of normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Valid Class 5 AB Driver’s License with minimum 3 years driving experience.
- Experience driving 5-ton truck an asset
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Experience with City of Calgary Traffic Control requirements an asset.
- Traffic flagging experience an asset.
- Attention to detail.
- Adaptable and proven teamwork skills.
