**The Company**:
We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk in our Fergus, ON location.

**Primary**: Accounting clerk functions that include Accounts payable processing in SAP in a timely fashion. Process AP for Fergus and Stratford. This position will have a mix of accounts payable processing for both locations, both matchables (invoice matches to a receiver and a purchase order) and non-matchables (no receiver or purchase order). Also, responsible to maintain the GRIR (goods receipt no invoice processed yet) on a timely manner. Assist the Acctg Manager with the weekly check run and prepare the checks for mailing. Maintain the “payables” inbox and answer any vendor inquiries. Communications with other areas of the business including Stratford location to obtain approvals for invoices and discrepancies on PO’s and receipts. Assisting with the Mail and utility reporting to Corporate.

**Secondary**:Cross train to perform other Accounting Clerk functions as necessary - Accounts Receivable, Claims Processing (Warranty and customer credits/debits), and Hourly Payroll.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in Excel and Word along with ability to create and maintain documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to exercise judgment and make decisions with limited supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions due to variability in volume.
- Attention to detail.
- Highly organized with capability of planning and prioritizing tasks at hand.

**Education**:

- Accounting knowledge through experience and or formal education. (preferred post-secondary accounting education)
- Two or more years’ experience in accounting related field (A/P, A/R, Claims Processing)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.45-$24.85 per hour

**Experience**:
