Front Desk Receptionist

Ottawa Inner City Health is seeking a **Temporary Full Time Front Desk Receptionist **to join the Administration team. This contract will end on January 31, 2025.
**Responsibilities**:
- The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for a wide variety of clerical office duties in support of company administration. Includes greeting visitors and receiving couriers, answering and referring inbound telephone calls, and ensuring office organization.
- Receive and manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services, and other correspondence.
- Arrange spaces and catering for meetings and ensure the appropriate presentation equipment is there.
- Maintain cleanliness of office common areas.
- Provide support to administrative team members and/or staff for special activities.
- Type forms, letters, reports, and memos as necessary.
- Scan and file documents.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or GED, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Solid knowledge of general office procedures and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a not for profit or experience working with a disadvantaged population is an asset.
- Good people skills required, must be open, non-judgemental, and willing to learn.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
**Working Conditions**:
- Able to regularly lift items as heavy as 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
