**OTR Business Analyst**

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Inventory**
- Monthly inventory reporting.
- Capture, process, monitor, and track inventory from port to MTG Warehouse, to site.
- Reconcile MTG warehouse inventory.
- Review obsolete inventory, report monthly and circulate to RSMs and internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for year-end inventory controls, which include but are not limited to: actual counts; follow-up with the inventory department in regard to cutoff results; and investigate any over-loss issues and sign off on same.

**Supply Management**
- Order and receive product from outside suppliers and Kal Tire warehouses.
- Approve and code invoices from customs brokers and ensure that appropriate costs are added to the landed cost of products.

**Supplier Management**
- Track all incoming product from rubber companies by PO’s, monthly orders, etc.
- Reconcile, approve, and code the final invoices from Rubber companies for product received and send to Accounts Payable.
- Invoice outgoing product from warehouse and vendors in Material Management System (“MMS”) to appropriate branches, mine sites.
- Responsible for ordering, stocking, and movement of non-Giant OTR product to branches
- Assist in setting buying procedures for regional staff.
- Establish and maintain price lists (buy-sell) for non-tire products including wheels and wheel components, protective chains and components, tire lubricants, tools and value components not stocked in the WHS.
- Forecast consumption of non-tire products and manage inventory where required.

**Planning and Forecasting**
- Liaise and act as the point of contact with suppliers and manufacturers for orders, quotes, supply, delivery, pricing, or other related issues.
- Coordinate and plan small OTR tire orders for Kal Tire warehouses and MTG branches.

***Reporting/Other**
- Liaise and interact with Kal Tire product purchasing department, Kal Trans and warehousing department and other internal Kal tire departments.
- Create ad hoc reports and analysis for RSM’s, Contracts Manager, Controller, VP Mining and MTG Branches, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
- Reconcile AP Account related to MTG warehouse.

**Communications and Support**
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with the various MTG and Kal Tire teams and individuals.
- Establish and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with outside suppliers and vendors.
- Provide support to MTG administrators and coordinators as necessary.

***WORK EXPERIENCE**
- 3-5 years of Inventory control experience.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
- High level of attention to detail
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as PDF Editing
- Experience with full feature Inventory and point of sales system
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Able to investigate, trouble shoot errors and analyze information flows across all sub systems
- Knowledge of MMS systems and ability to learn new software

***EDUCATION**
- Post-secondary degree in business or sales management, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

***SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Occasional travel within Canada

**NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Mining and/or OTR Tire knowledge would be considered an asset (tire sizes, tread patterns, and compounds).
- Experience working in sales cycles will be an asset.
- Advanced Microsoft excel skills.
