Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience analyzing technical and business requirements, evaluating software solutions, and supporting the full lifecycle of application systems—from planning to implementation and production support. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with industry-standard tools, and the ability to design effective system solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed technical analysis and document functional and business requirements for various business applications.
  • Evaluate software and enabling technology options, features, and functions to support business needs.
  • Assist in planning, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions to enhance assigned systems.
  • Perform technical scope of work by analyzing business requirements and preparing detailed system design proposals.
  • Provide recommendations on the necessity and suitability of hardware or software acquisitions.
  • Design systems using standard analytical practices including technical environments, database and file design, input/output specifications, and system interfaces.
  • Test, deploy, and support application systems, ensuring system and data integrity.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Design, code, test, and implement system releases; create online screen changes and user reports.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system flowcharts, design materials, and test models/results.
  • Perform unit, integration, system, and volume testing as required.
  • Develop and test custom software components when necessary.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks and methodologies (e.g., BABOK).
  • Advanced proficiency in tools such as MS Office, Mural, JIRA, MS Project, and Visio.
  • Understanding of IT systems and current technology trends.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering techniques (use cases, user stories, process modeling).
  • Knowledge of process modeling techniques such as BPMN and UML.
  • Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
