SNC-Lavalin Operations and Maintenance is looking for a Manager, Performance Management for the upcoming Minor Warships & Auxiliary Vessels (MWAV) project. The project is currently in the bid-phase and the role would be available upon project award.

We have flexibility to accommodate office locations for this position in **Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Ottawa, Ontario, or Victoria, British Columbia**.

The Manager, Performance Management reports directly to the MWAV Program Manager and is responsible for the development, implementation, and operation of an MWAV IV Performance Management Framework (PfMF).

This position has a strong commitment to assist in identifying and implementing process improvement in an environment committed to continuous improvement in service delivery.

**How will you contribute to the team?**

Working with the MWAV Program Manager, Quality Manager and the client, the Performance Manager will adapt the existing PfMF to the requirements of MWAV IV and oversee its documentation and operationalization by:

- Defining the performance measurement data to be collected in support of a series of defined system Health indicators (SHI), key performance indicators (KPI) and strategic performance measures (SPM),
- Defining the data collection and storage strategies and process.
- Establishing a series of performance targets or benchmarks.
- Defining the data analysis processes to be employed including root cause analysis.
- Defining the performance management reporting regime (frequency, content, and presentation).

Working with MWAV Program Manager and the entire Program Management Team, the Performance Manager will manage the resulting Performance Management regime, systems, and processes by:

- Ensuring timely data collection.
- Leading performance data analysis.
- Reviewing and validating results with process owners and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Developing and presenting performance results and recommendations to the MWAV Performance Management Working Group.
- Maintaining the performance dashboard.
- Maintaining the performance dashboard and generating the required monthly (SHIs), quarterly (KPIs) and annual (SPM) performance reports.

Working with MWAV Program Manager and the client, the Performance Manager will adapt and adjust the Performance Management Framework and associated processes as the MWAV program evolves, ensuring continued relevance to the established strategic outcomes and goals.

**What will you contribute?**
- A degree or 3-year diploma in business administration, science, or engineering,
- A minimum of five (5) years in the last 10 years of demonstrated experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on performance data.
- At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in Contract Performance Management.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint).
- Experience preparing presentations for senior management.
- The ability to work in both official languages.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Experience in development and documentation of practices and processes.
- Ability to work well with others and be objective, diplomatic, and professional.
