**INVESTOR RELATIONS MANAGER**

**ROLE SUMMARY**

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, we are currently seeking a high-performing, detail-oriented and dynamic team member who will provide a vital link between WestUrban Capital and our internal and external stakeholders. This includes working with investors, analysts, finance managers and our operational teams to support the execution of our strategic direction, financial performance goals, and growth of the Capital group. This role is responsible for development and execution of the Company’s investor relations objectives and plan. The role also includes the expectation of working towards becoming an exempt market dealing representative via completion of the Exempt Market Proficiency course (EXMP)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and responsiveness while creating strong investor relationships with institutions, and high net worth individuals;
- Implement and manage the investor relations & CRM strategy;
- Participate in business development efforts, generate and follow up on leads and maintain investor relations databases, to facilitate relationship building with professional asset managers and potential investors;
- Act as first point of contact to respond to investor inquiries and provide a high level of customer service and client satisfaction;
- Facilitate management interactions with the investment community through regular participation at conferences, investor events and networking opportunities;
- Research and write executive-level briefing documents for executive leadership, members of the investment community and in response to external inquiries and disclosures;
- Prepare investor focused information releases, project proformas and investment brochures, and quarterly reports;
- Assist with the preparing and filing of periodic regulatory disclosures as required by our external regulators/auditors;
- Other responsibilities as may be required to support the Capital team in achieving objectives.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of capital markets, financial disclosure and accounting practices;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy with an analytical orientation;
- Ability to demonstrate integrity and trust and operate with uncompromising ethical standards and sense of judgement;
- Recognized as highly proactive and self-motivated individual, with the ability to operate well under mínimal supervision, including effectively working in ambiguous situations:

- Willing to take initiative and assume ownership and accountability of what needs to be done;
- Proven ability to prioritize and focus on what matters most, consistently meeting deadlines while operating in a high-pressure environment;
- Ability to think creatively when problem solving and proactively adapting to challenges;
- Aptitude for collaboration and preference for working in a team environment;
- Prepared to work towards becoming a Dealing Representative including completion of the Exempt Market Proficiency course (EXMP)

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field;
- Proven track record of dealing with senior management, executives and sophisticated clients;
- Demonstrated knowledge of core Finance concepts (accounting, capital, treasury, tax);
- Advanced computer skills including intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel;
- Financial Designation, CPA, CFA or MBA
- 2+ years of experience working in an investor relations role or in related capital market roles
- Completion or enrollment in the Exempt Market Proficiency (EXMP) course.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 depending on experience. We also provide:
