Nu Edge Construction Ltd. is currently hiring a **Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician**. This role would be joining **Nu Edge Construction Ltd**.**’s** workforce as a valuable colleague

**The position will be based out of Edmonton and will require the ability to run a field service truck.**

**Off Road service experience is mandatory.**

**Details**:

- **Start Date**:ASAP**:

- **Duration**: Full Time
- **Shift**:Monday - Friday. Weekends as required. Overtime as needed.
- **Location**: Edmonton, AB.
- **Compensation**:Hourly

**What you do**:

- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical systems
- Repair, adjust, test, and maintain a variety of heavy equipment
- Familiarity with tracked and wheeled off-road equipment (dozers, scrapers, excavators, packers, graders, and rock trucks)
- Estimate the resources and materials to efficiently maintain fleet
- Complete preventative maintenance checks and diagnostic work on equipment
- Experience with highway truck and trailer units
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Local to Edmonton or surrounding area

**What background and skills qualify you**:

- Registered Red Seal Certification as a Heay Equipment Technician (HET)
- Extensive experience with John Deere, Caterpillar, and Volvo
- Preferably two years of experience as Journeyman
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Committed to safety using occupational health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
