**Job Description**:
The Superintendent will mainly be responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and coordinating work performed on construction sites and fields, including:
Manage field crews and coordinate work force;
Review and ensure project labor requirements are met;
Plan and oversee field operational activities;
Create project schedules and manage field resources;
Complete site inspections and monitor progress;
Supervise operations, ensure targets and quality protocols are achieved;
Complete reports and required documents;
Hold and attend meetings, both project specific and general;
Promote safety and ensure program compliance;
Coordinate project materials and tool/equipment management;
Set team goals and promote operational success;
Coordinate service calls and adapt to changes;
Lead by example and foster company culture;
Provide effective communication, both internal and external;
Develop industry engagement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with service, installation and testing of all water-based suppression systems, foam
systems, special hazard systems and fire pumps;
Sprinkler Fitters’ Journeypersons certificate with Red Seal (an asset);
Knowledge of required codes and standards;
Ability to read and interpret Blue Prints;
Proficient level of computer literacy;
Team first mentality;
High level of communication is required;
Strong customer service skills;
Safety first attitude;
Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
