**About Us**:
The Concrete Company is a trusted provider of concrete formwork, restoration, and specialty concrete solutions. We take pride in quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork. We are seeking a skilled **General Foreman / Assistant Superintendent** to help bridge the gap between site-level supervision and project management.

**Position Overview**:
This role supports the Superintendent in managing overall project execution while still being actively involved in the field. The General Foreman will oversee multiple crews, coordinate scheduling, ensure safety and quality, and help deliver projects on time and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Superintendent in planning and directing site operations
- Supervise multiple crews and Foremen across work areas
- Schedule manpower, equipment, and material deliveries
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project specifications
- Act as the Superintendent’s delegate when they are off-site
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, and quality checks
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and Clients
- Support and mentor Foremen and crew leaders
- Track progress, productivity, and report issues to Superintendent/PM

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of concrete construction experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of formwork, concrete placement, finishing, and restoration practices
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple crews effectively
- Solid understanding of drawings, layouts, and construction documents
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Safety-first mindset (Work at Heights, WHMIS, and other safety tickets are assets)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $32.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
