We are seeking a Technical Writer, a full-time position based in Mississauga, Ontario. As a Technical Writer, you will review and create RFx responses, prepare documentation used to operationalize security operations platform, support our security analyst and product managers on documentation.
**Responsibilities Include**
- Obtain good understanding of our products and services and be able to review and develop comprehensive responses to RFP, RFI or RFQs
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop an in-depth understanding of products and services and their documentation requirements in a dynamic, Agile environment
- Researching, writing, and editing technical deliverables for internal and external audiences, including standard operating procedure, user guides, troubleshooting, and FAQs
- Providing feedback to team members and other teams through peer editing and design reviews
- Balancing deadlines with other assignments and priorities
- Shaping writing style and content structure guidelines
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
- 1-2 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Experience working with sales and technical teams and help refine content
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
