Yard Associate

**Description**:
Rental Network is a growing rental company, based in Squamish, BC and serving, the Sea to Sky corridor and beyond. We are hiring Yard Associate, this position is responsible for Servicing equipment, loading and unloading trucks, demonstrating the safe and proper use of equipment. You must be professional and courteous as this job requires constant interaction with customers. E**xperience and knowledge of construction equipment and general tools, specifically earth moving equipment, arial equipment, lawn and garden equipment and hand and power tools is a benefit. Basic computer skills are a must.**

**Position Duties**:

- Does basic servicing of rental equipment
- Cleans rental equipment
- Keeps shop and yard in an organized state
- Inventories equipment and advises manager of shortages
- Assists customer with loading and unloading of equipment, demonstrates operational and safety features
- Fill propane cylinders
- Keeps accurate counts of customers orders
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form
- Attend department, store and safety meetings
- Perform other duties as requested
- Communicates effectively with coworkers
- General mechanical aptitude is a benefit

**Requirements**:

- Valid BC Drivers license
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must possess customer service relation skills
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment and power equipment preferred.
- Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Must be able to multi task
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience.
- Must have the ability to adapt to change in priorities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
