**Overview**

Bowerman's is a high end Cabinetry/Millwork company located in Squamish BC. We have been producing high quality custom cabinetry and millwork for the Whistler to Vancouver market for over 20 years.

Bowerman’s is looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. In this position, you will be part of a team primarily responsible for the production of high-end custom millwork, cabinetry and furniture. Bowerman’s has a family work environment, and having a positive attitude and good communication skills is essential.

We are looking for someone who has a good work ethic, has high attention to detail and takes pride in their work.

**Major Activities include**:

- Communicating with shop foreman and shop workers in order to complete jobs in a safe team environment.
- Accurately reading shop drawing in order to create customer cabinetry and millwork.
- Set up and safely operate woodworking machinery.
- Cut, shape, mold and assemble components of wood and sheet stock.
- Sand and prep surfaces for finishing.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 3 year’s experience in the cabinetry industry
- Red Seal in Joinery is an asset
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and contract specifications
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50+ pounds
- Ability to stand at a work bench for up to 8 hours per day
- Have own hand tools
- Proactive in pointing out potential issues
- Ability to work quickly and change direction as needed
- Installation experience of custom cabinetry is an asset

**Job Information**
- Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Full time

**Compensation**
- $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
