**Summary**

As a Medical Quality Assurance Advisor, you will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with legal regulations, healthcare regulations and maintaining high standards of patient care. Reporting to the Licensee, your core responsibilities will include writing and updating policy and procedure manuals, conducting audits, analyzing data, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise in risk management and regulatory requirements will be essential in identifying areas for enhancement. With a focus on patient safety and satisfaction, you will collaborate with out healthcare team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and uphold the organization's commitment to excellence in medical and surgical services.

**Qualifications**
- Must be a health professional who ordinarily provides insured services in or in connection with the integrated community health services centre and whose training enables them to advise the licensee with respect to the quality and standards of services provided in the centre
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and regulatory standards
- Experience in medical or healthcare field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices
- Understanding of CSA, HSO, ICHSC and Accreditation Canada standards, privacy legislation, etc.

**Duties**
- Must physically visit the centre at least 4 times per year and attending quarterly quality assurance meetings.
- Provides insured services in or in connection with the integrated community health services centre.
- Document all visits to the centre and take detailed notes of each quality assurance meeting.
- Ensuring adherence to established quality standards and best practices within their area of responsibility.
- Identifying areas for improvement in processes and procedures, and developing and implementing solutions to enhance quality.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and institutional policies.
- Managing and supporting the organization's accreditation processes, including interacting with accrediting bodies.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to quality assurance activities.
- Investigating and resolving quality issues, including product complaints, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Providing training and support to team members on quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Monitoring and managing quality-related risks.
- Collaborating with team to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies and plans.
- Developing and updating quality-related policies and procedures.
- Analyzing data to identify trends and inform decision-making related to quality assurance.
- Review any deficiencies identified with the team and advise on corrections to meeting standards.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $100.00-$200.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 2 per week

**Education**:

- Doctoral Degree (preferred)
