**The Opportunity**

Olympic Industries is excited to offer a highly motivated and detail-orientated student the opportunity to join our growth-oriented team for a 4-month contract beginning in January 2025 as an Accounting Intern

Working closely with the Operations Department, the Accounting Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting including invoicing, and month-end closing procedures. This internship will also provide an opportunity to develop your administrative skills while working in a supportive and collaborative office environment.

**Specific Responsibilities**

As an Accounting Intern your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:
**Support the Invoicing Team in managing the creation, processing, and distribution of invoices**:

- Support the Invoicing Team in managing the creation, processing, and distribution of invoices.
- Resolving inquiries, including issuing debits & credits to resolve discrepancies, and answering invoicing-related questions.
- Update and adjust sales orders per approval.
- Complete required customs paperwork.
- Perform basic office duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Assist in the month-end closing procedures.
- Participation in ad hoc projects.

**Who We’re Looking For**
- Education and Experience_
- Working towards a Diploma or Degree in a related program such as Accounting.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience with AS400 and Great Plains considered an asset.

Additional Details
- Salary range: $38,000-$45,000 per annum.
