**Job Description** Mission**
In order to continue the growth and success of CIMA+, we are looking for a geomatics technician to carry out various projects within the Earth & Environment department at CIMA+.

We adopt an ecosystem approach from the planning and design phases, which results from the interaction and integration of planning, environmental and engineering disciplines.

The main objective of the position will be to participate in the preparation of field teams, the development of thematic maps and the management of databases, for a variety of projects.

**Primary responsibilities**
- Design detailed thematic maps for environmental and planning studies
- Process and analyze geospatial data as part of environmental studies
- Design and manage databases
- Perform topographical surveys using GPS
- Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, charts and plans
- Search and extract thematic environmental data

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in geomatics technology or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in geomatics
- Proficiency in the ArcGIS software suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, Field Maps)
- Have knowledge and experience in:

- Cartographic design and editing;
- Hydro-Québec Thematic Mapping and Geographic Information System (GIS) Quote (Asset)
- Computer Programming languages SQL, Python or Arcade (Asset)
- QGIS, AutoCad, Civil3D or 3D modeling (Asset)
- French language profeciency.
- Experience in surveying (Asset).
- Drone pilot certificate from Transports Canada (Asset).
