As a mechanical drafting/design technician, you'll be involved in designing and drafting mechanical parts for the development of our various Lidar products.

**You will thrive in the following roles**:

- Modeling parts, components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies using various manufacturing processes.
- Creating 3D models and 2D drawings using Solidworks.
- Developing drawings based on information provided in plans and specifications.
- Analyzing and assessing the technical feasibility of projects.
- Actively participating in design reviews.
- Collaborating closely with prototyping teams during projects.
- Researching the best components and coordinating with the purchasing team to order them.
- Managing requests for drawing modifications by clearly communicating with local suppliers.
- Contributing to all relevant job tasks.

**We want you on the team if**:

- You have obtained a DEC in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in design, or a college diploma as a mechanical drafter.
- You have 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of design.
- You master the use of Solidworks software.
- You are comfortable in a constantly evolving environment.
- Your profile is characterized by ingenuity and strong autonomy.
- You are known for your adaptability, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Being bilingual in both English and French, both spoken and written, is mandatory._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
