**Location**: Saanichton

**Job Type**: Part-time 20-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
**Compensation**: Competitive hourly wage, based on experience

**About Us**:
RockCoast Confections is a small-batch, gourmet chocolatier and confectioner based on Vancouver Island. We are passionate about crafting high-quality chocolates and treats using natural ingredients. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a detail-oriented **Food Prep Assistant** to help us create our delicious confections.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing ingredients, including measuring, chopping, and mixing.
- Support the production team in making chocolates and other confections.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety standards.
- Assist with packaging and labeling products.
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency in quality.
- Perform other kitchen duties as needed.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience in food preparation or a kitchen environment is an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Passion for chocolate and confections is a plus
