**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and precision to enhance visual appeal.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs for reordering.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to special requests or dietary restrictions when necessary.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in food handling, preparation, and baking techniques.
- Proficiency in cake decorating and presentation skills is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for creating high-quality baked goods that delight customers.
