Morgan Demolition and Abatement is seeking qualified Asbestos Abatement Lead Hand to join the growing team.
- Complete all abatement tasks as instructed by site foreman/ site supervisor
- Assist the site foreman with daily containment, sling and winch inspections
- Participate and lead site inspections
- Identify and correct any hazards and/or at risk behaviours
- Co-Lead the Daily Hazard Assessment Meetings as required
- Delegate tasks
- Lead by example
- Hauling of site debris
- Interior and exterior abatement
- Use of hand tools and power tools daily
- Operation of equipment when deemed competent (skid steer, floor machine, lifts and company vehicles)
- Lifting 50lbs+ on a regular basis
- Follow specific instructions and complete tasks in a timely matter
- Must be able to work alone, as well as be a great team player
- Must always be safety conscious, following Morgan safety policies and procedures
- Assist project foreman with any required documentation (Safety or equipment related)
- Assist project foreman with any site-specific dispatch requirements (materials, equipment, bins, fuel)
- Must have a full understanding of practice and procedure at hand before beginning work
- General clean and sweep of project site at end of every shift
- Assist project foreman ensuring project is safe and materials are always secure
Must have the following;
- Valid Alberta Asbestos Worker ticket (2 day training card)
- Confined Space Ticket
- CSTS and WHMIS
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to/from site
- Successfully complete an alcohol and drug test
- 3 years experience in low / moderate / high risk containment with 2 years of lead hand/foreman experience
- Steel Toed Boots
Wage Range: $29-$30 dependent on experience

**Salary**: $29.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
