Bytown Catering is looking for an energetic Cook to join our team in one of our cafeteria settings.

We are looking for applicants who are positive, punctual and eager to learn and grow within the organization.

This position is full time.

Requirements for this position:

- Minimum 3 years experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Help plan menus, some with different dietary restrictions, estimate food requirements and cost
- Assist others in the preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Must be familiar with food safety and hygiene requirements, safe work practices and with health regulations pertaining to food handling, preparation and service
- Applicant will be required to prep on a daily basis, cook, clean, and interact with customers in a positive professional manner

Drivers’ license an asset. Free on-site parking

Working in other Bytown Catering locations within the city for catering events is also possible

Wage will be determined based on experience
