SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE Supervise the implementation of all property and equipment preventive maintenance and repairs, monitor life safety systems and utilities and administer the department in compliance with all corporate/franchise standards and local, provincial and federal codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and associates. Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, FF&E, grounds, swimming pool, etc. as defined by Holloway and brand standards. Responsible for planned preventive maintenance of rooms, banquet space, mechanical/ electrical systems and equipment and the effective prioritization/completion of daily maintenance requests working within the department budget and contributing to guest satisfaction and safe and cost effective running of the property as required by company policy.
- Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate

Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) and other equipment throughout the hotel.

Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.

Communicate with hotel department heads to become aware of

maintenance needs and ensure timely response to internal requests.

Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters; completing maintenance request forms and record logs.

Implements and maintains a preventative maintenance program.

Assist General Manager with annual Capital Plan development.

Plan and carry out preventive maintenance throughout the property to ensure standards are maintained for guest comfort and the safe and efficient running of all equipment, as required by company policy and in line with the maintenance budget.

**Salary**: $17.00-$17.50 per hour
