**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, merchandising, and store maintenance.
- Train, develop, and evaluate staff performance through effective coaching and mentoring.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process to build a strong team.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms for products and supplies.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and employee schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Proficient in math for inventory management and financial reporting.
- Effective phone etiquette for communication with customers and vendors.
- Ability to train staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Strong negotiation skills to work with suppliers and vendors effectively.
- A passion for retail sales with a keen understanding of market trends.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
Additional pay:
