**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately interpret and comprehend tender drawings and specifications for communication, fibre, and rental estimates up to $1 Million.
- Present all aspects of the work scope, staging, timing, constraints, risks, and potential cost-saving opportunities and alternatives.
- Travel to client locations to conduct field level visits, investigations, and review for estimations.
- Perform and/or direct quantity take-offs from tender drawings.
- Identify risk areas.
- Consistently and insightfully formulate all tender costs—labour, material, equipment, and procure subcontractor scope and costs—for quotation submission.
- Close tenders—including tender reviews and sub-proposal reviews and analysis.
- Maintain files and correspondence on active tenders.
- Cost out potential scope of work changes/additional cost/claims situations.
- Work in conjunction with a broader team of the company for estimating.
- Implement and enforce company’s corporate health and safety program.
- Maintain excellent relationships with owner, consultants, subcontractors, craft employees and the staff team.
- Follow defined workflow process.
- Be available outside of business hours on an on-call basis.

**Required Experience and Education**:

- 3+ years’ experience in estimating.
- 5+ years’ experience interfacing with customers.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, with decent Driver’s Abstract.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is considered an asset.

**What do we have to offer?**
- Compensation will be based on a combination of experience and education. Annual salary ranges between $70,000.00 to $90,000.00.

- Upon Management approval - Vincent Communications may pay for approved additional training and courses as well as compensation for the time required to complete them.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
